Reaper is keen on reinforcing her play style with teleportation and enemy disruption while incorporating poison-based attacks as well. Lunar voice, the other class engraving of Reaper, focuses on swoop attacks that favor the persona mode. The hunger class engraving focuses on filling up the chaos meter to further enhance the mode's impact on the battlefield. The subclass will also feature two unique class engravings that allow focus on its particular aspects. The chaos mode, for example, allows the Reaper to gain +15% huge boost, +10% movement, and attack speed rendering the class even more dangerous, especially in PVP fights. Similar to other subclasses, these modes allow an advanced class to specify its skill set even further. RELATED: The Witcher And Lost Ark Collaboration Brings Geralt To Arkesia In Early 2023Īccording to an article on Lost Ark Academy, the Reaper subclass comes with three modes - normal, persona, and chaos. Faithful to the rogue archetype, Reaper can also become invisible and summon clones to bewilder her enemies before bringing their end. Along with the swift Shadowhunter subclass and sword-wielding Deathblade, stealth-enthusiast will get their hands on Reaper, a blade-heavy assassin who focuses on dealing swift attacks from behind. So pick a class that you enjoy the most so you don't get burnt out.The Assassin class will be offering three Advanced Classes with Reaper's arrival on November 16. What is extremely powerful today, might be mediocre at best in a few months. If you are a meta player, keep in mind that this game is everchanging. If you want her in a more laid back fashion, you can try her other engraving which completely ignores the invisibility mechanic and focuses on the red bar instead. So if you love a challenge, a load of mobility, backstabbing and improving at the game - the reaper is for you. The skill ceiling with this class is pretty high too, you can easily tell a bad reaper from a good one. Probably too punishing for what she is, but she still can dish out extremely high amounts of damage. In short, she is extremely punishing to play. So with all of these factors accounted for, she is extremely unforgiving and I wouldn't recommend her to a new player unless you are up for a challenge. Also, she is one of the squishiest characters in the game while being melee and extremely crit dependent. While she has a lot of mobility, you use a lot of it to fill the meter if you are playing moon engraving, but a good reaper will still be able to dodge and stay behind the boss while doing so. Now to deal proper damage, she has to be behind the boss which can be tricky. Noteworthy that most of her red skills can be easily interrupted so you have to time them correctly. Most of her damage comes from her red skills, which have ~20 second cooldown without any cd reductions, so she has a decent amount of downtime. She has a tiny bit of utility with her green poison crit damage buff, but other than that she is purely dps focused, albeit not the best at it. Now let's talk about the negatives (and why she is so punishing):First of all, reaper is a very selfish dps. I couldn't capture that same feeling with any other class, Blade included, so until that changes, I will not move onto another class. This one is for the assassin subclass, the BladeLostArkBlade LostArkDeathBladeMUSIC:T. It just feels like an incredibly smooth and fluent dance when it works. Not an endgame guideHey guys, heres another LostArk class video. Reaper was the first character I created in August this year and she has been my main ever since.įlying around the surroundings with all your movement skills, jumping into invisibility and sneaking behind the enemy before promptly hitting them for huge amounts of damage.
